A history-sheeter wanted in 12 cases was arrested and five country-made firearms were seized during a raid at an illegal arms factory in Benazir Bagh here, police said today.
Abid Khan, who was running the arms factory, was yesterday arrested, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Tyagi said.
However, Khan's accomplice, Vinod, managed to escape, he said.
Five country-made pistols along with items used in manufacturing of firearms were recovered from Khan's possession, Tyagi said.
Khan used to sell the firearms to other criminals, he said.
