House collapses in Srinagar

A two-storeyed house in a flood affected area of the city collapsed today but no one was hurt in the incident as it was unoccupied, police said.

"Two-storeyed house belonging to Farooq Ahmad Dar in Suthra Shahi locality, which was affected by the floods, collapsed today," a police spokesman said.

No one was hurt in the incident as the inmates had vacated house during the floods, he said, adding an electricity supply line was also damaged due to the collapse.
