A senior Haryana bureaucrat today directed the officers concerned to complete all kinds of arrangements to avoid dangers of possible floods during the monsoon season before June 30.
Haryana's Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management, Keshni Anand Arora chaired a meeting of the officers of district administration and other departments in Yamunanagar district.
She directed the officers to simultaneously coordinate with the Central Ground Water Board and Meteorological Department.
Arora asked them to strengthen their information system and to remain in contact with the officers of the Army, Air Force and NDRF.
She directed them to coordinate with the senior officers of the Irrigation Department of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh to get information regarding rising water level in the rivers in these states.
