Delhiites reeled under sultry conditions fed by rains that lashed the city this afternoon.
Heavy showers led to a drop in the maximum temperature, recorded at 35 degrees Celsius, but aggravated humidity levels, which were recorded between 63 and 92 per cent.
The minimum in the city settled at 28.8 degrees Celsius.
The Safdarjung observatory got 1.4 mm of rains between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM while Palam, Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar received 17.2 mm, 0.9 mm, 35 mm and 61.4 mm of precipitation, respectively, in the corresponding period.
