I couldn't read until I was 11: Ray Winstone

"Noah" actor Ray Winstone reveals he was too lazy as a child that he did not learn to read until he was 11.

The 60-year-old star admits he never used to take his school seriously, reported Femalefirst.

"I could not read personally until I was 11. It was laziness, And at the time. It was just being behind," Winstone told BBC.

"When I moved to North London I was two years behind in education."

Winstone's latest film "Jawbone" centres on former fighter Jimmy McCabe who returns to his childhood boxing club after his life hits an all-time low.
