I'd love to go back to 'EastEnders': Jamie Lomas

Actor Jamie Lomas says if given a chance he would love to make a comeback on the TV show "EastEnders".

The 42-year-old actor played Jake, a struggling alcoholic in the BBC soap from 2013-14 and also made a guest appearance during a flashback episode for the show's 30th anniversary in 2015.

"I'd love to go back to EastEnders. I had an amazing time with the people there. I still have some fantastic friends there," Lomas tells The Daily Star.

The actor says he is game for re-exploring Jake's character.

"I had such a fantastic character to play. When you're playing someone with a drinking problem, you have to do it justice for the people who are suffering.
 

"I studied alcoholism at length. And I'm forever grateful to 'EastEnders' for giving me that opportunity," he says.
