Identity of severed head established, hunt on for suspect

The identity of a severed head which was found near railway tracks here, was established today by the family of an eighteen-year-old youth.

Relatives identified the head as that of Neeraj Singh (18), SI GRP Mahesh Joshi said, adding that he was missing since December 24.

Neeraj, a labourer, was last seen with his brother-in-law Bhawani Singh

It is suspected that Bhawani murdered Neeraj and dumped his head at the rail tracks under Ajmer road flyover, the officer said, adding that Bhawani is at large and is being located.
