Indian among 3 killed in road accident in Nepal

While the Indian was riding the motorbike, two Nepalese staff members of the United Nations Development Project were inside the jeep when the large vehicle hit them.

Four persons were also injured in the accident that happed yesterday in front of traffic police post in a village in Sunsari district.

Police said the Indian who died was identified as Gudhmal Jain, while the other two deceased were Bijaya Kumar Sah and Radhyshyam Thapa from Biratnagar.

The three persons died on the spot.

The over speeding tipper went out of control after hitting a motorbike and then collided with a jeep belonging to UNDP, which was coming from the opposite direction.

 

The injured people were admitted to Sunsari District Hospital for treatment.
