Three IPS officers and a WBPS
officer were today transferred by the West Bengal government.
According to a notification by the home department, Shyam Singh, deputy commissioner (traffic) in Siliguri Police Commissionerate, will now hold the rank of a commandant of state armed police (SAP).
Kankar Prosad Barui, special superintendent, intelligence branch, has also been sent in the same post.
IPS Debasish Dhar, additional DC Bidhannagar, will now be a deputy commandant in SAP.
WBPS officer Debasish Nandi, additional DC in Barrackpore police commissionerate, will also be a deputy commandant in SAP.
