IUML leader P K Kunhalikutty resigns as MLA

IUML leader P K Kunhalikutty, who won the Malappuram Lok Sabha bypoll, today resigned as member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly.

Kunhalikutty had represented Vengara constituency in Malappuram.

He submitted his resignation to Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan.

The bypoll was necessiated following the demise of former Union Minister E Ahamed, wh represented the seat.
