J-K Guv condoles death of Somnath Chatterjee

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra expressed grief TODAY over the demise of Somnath Chatterjee, former speaker of the Lok Sabha.

Communist veteran Chatterjee passed away at a private hospital in Kolkata last morning following multiple organ failure. He was 89.

In a condolence message, Vohra prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in their hour of grief, an official spokesman said.
