Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today lauded the joint efforts made by the administration and the judiciary towards people's welfare.
"People's welfare is a big aim and taking development to the last person of the society. The special thing is, today administration and the judiciary together are making effort in this regard," Das said, while addressing Legal Services cum Empowerment Camp here.
Gumla is the third place after Jamshedpur and Ranchi where the administration and the judiciary together launched camps to distribute welfare benefits among the beneficiaries, he said.
The chief minister said distribution of welfare schemes among over one lakh beneficiaries is a big achievement, according to an official release.
Das also appealed to women to take part in literacy campaigns as education of the girl child is important for poverty eradication.
