Jack White drops new track

Singer Jack White treated fans with a new surprise track titled "Battle Cry".

The 41-year-old musician's noveau track features no vocals other than some chants, reported Billboard.

Former White Stripes frontman's current number has been released by his own company, Third Man Records.

However, it is unknown if this is a one-off or the beginning roll-out of a new album.

White's last album, "Lazaretto" had released in the year 2014.

The musician had since then appeared in albums by Beyonce and A Tribe Called Quest.
