Jason Bateman to star in Joel Edgerton's directorial debut

'Juno' star Jason Bateman will romance Rebecca Hall in actor Joel Edgerton's untitled directorial debut.

The film is about to begin production in Los Angeles with Edgerton, 40, also starring, reported Deadline.

Edgerton wrote the script and is producing. Bateman, 45, and Hall, 32, play a husband and wife who seek to reinvigorate their relationship with a fresh beginning in a new town, only to have their life disrupted by a 'friend' from the past.
