Jaya extends Vinayaka Chaturthi greetings

: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today extended her Vinayaka Chaturthi greetings to the people of Tamil Nadu.

"It is a long-standing belief among people that any work that is taken up after seeking the blessings of Lord Vinayaka will become fruitful," she said in an official release.

She wished the people happiness, prosperity and peace on the occasion, it said.

Vinayaka Chaturthi is being celebrated tomorrow.
