Jharkhand is set to make the Surrender Policy more effective in its bid to bring back extremists of various outfits active in 20 of its 24 districts.
This would be done after the September-11 review meeting of the existing surrender policy, Additional Director General of Police S N Pradhan said here today.
He also said forty personnel of 'Jharkhand Jaguar', currently undergoing training on the pattern of Grey Hounds of Andhra Pradesh, would come back and impart training to other cops. The trained jawans would be posted at operational areas.
