JK govt officer falls from hotel's upper floor, dies

A Kashmir Administrative Service officer died when he slipped and fell from the fourth floor of a hotel here, police said today.

Ajesh Kumar, posted as the Registrar Co-operatives, fell from the fourth floor of the hotel at Boulevard on the banks of Dal Lake yesterday, they said.

He was rushed to SKIMS Hospital where he succumbed to injuries, police said.

Kumar, a resident of Kishtwar district, was staying in the hotel, they said.
