To give impetus to employability, the Jammu and Kashmir government has registered 127 new cooperative societies in the last two years.
This was informed by JK Cooperatives Minister Manohar Lal Sharma in the state Assembly today.
Replying to a discussion demand for Grants of Cooperative Department in the House, he said the government has taken several far-reaching steps to restore the democratic character of Cooperative Societies by holding their elections after a long gap.
