"Star Trek" actor John Cho is joining the cast of "The Exorcist" as a series regular.
The 45-year-old star will play former child psychologist Andrew Kim, who now runs a group home for at-risk foster children, confirmed Entertainment Weekly.
The new season will shift the action from Chicago to a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle.
The role marks Cho's second Fox supernatural drama after "Sleepy Hollow".
