Journalist dies in road accident

Local journalist Sukhwinder Singh Malhi died here in a road accident.
Malhi, a part-time correspondent of the Press Trust of India from Pathankot, met with the accident when scooter hit a road divider in Talwara area last night.
55-year-old Malhi leaves behind his wife and a daughter, the family said.

Besides providing services to PTI on part-time basis since 2005, Malhi was also working with an English daily and had earlier served for The Times of India.
Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa and a number of journalists have condoled his death.
