Kerala Tourism Bags PATA Gold Awards 2017

Kerala Tourism Department has won 'The Pacific Asia TravelAssociation GrandandGold Award2017' for itsFilmTourismBrochure in the Marketing Media-Consumer Travel Brochure category.

P Bala Kiran, IAS, Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala received the award at the 32nd edition of the PATA Awards, held at Macao, in recognition of its trend-setting marketing initiatives, which have boosted the state's profile as a must-visit destination, a press release said here today.

Filmtourismisagrowingphenomenon worldwide, fuelled by boththe growthofthe entertainment industry and the increase in international travel, the release said.
