Launch of Rs 10 coins on centenary of Gandhi's return from SA

The Reserve Bank will launch Rs 10 coins to commemorate the centenary of return of Mahatma Gandhi to India from South Africa.

"The Government of India has minted the coins which the Reserve Bank of India will shortly put into circulation," it said in a notification.

The existing coins in this denomination shall also continue to be legal tender, it added.
