Lauren Conrad feels overwhelmed by motherhood

TV personality Lauren Conrad said being a mother is a tough job and she sometimes felt overwhelmed handling the responsibility.

The 31-year-old host said being a parent is both the "best and hardest thing" to do, reported People magazine.

"I think that you can become a little overwhelmed, just being at home with your baby all day. Honestly, it's exactly as everyone describes it.

"It's the best and hardest thing you'll ever do. It's amazing. You fall so in love with your tiny person -- it's a whole new life," Conrad said.

The "Laguna Beach" star is mother to her two-month-old son, Liam, whom she shares with musician husband William Tell.
