A court in nearby Tirupur today sentenced a youth to undergo life imprisonment for murdering a 56-year old man two years ago.
The prosecution case was that one Sundar Singh, giving autorick shaws on rent, entered into argument with an auto driver Kathiresan over business issue on March two, 2015, at Mangalam in Tirupur.
Singh hit Ganesan, father of Kathiresan, who had come to settle the issue, with a wooden log, leading to his spot death.
First Additional District Court and the Judge M K Jamuna sentenced Singh to undergo life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.
