Light rains at few places in Raj

Light to moderate rains occurred at isolated places in Kota and Udaipur divisions of the state today whereas the weather remained mainly dry in rest of the Rajasthan.

The rainfall in these divisions was recorded from 1 to 4 cm till morning today since yesterday while Dabok in Udaipur received 2 cm rains till evening, MeT officials said here.

Meanwhile, day temperature increased by a few notches in the desert state with Churu being the hottest at 41 degree Celsius.

Isolated pockets in eastern parts of the state would receive light rains during next 24 hours, weathermen have predicted.
