Light to heavy rain lashes Rajasthan

Light to heavy rain lashed parts of Rajasthan today with Gangrar in Chittorgarh division receiving 11 cm rainfall.

Bansur in Alwar division recorded 9 cm of rain followed by Buhana in Jhunjhunu and Nagarfort in Tonk (8 cm each) while several other places received below 7 cm of rainfall during this period, the Met department said.

Chittorgarh and Kota received 8 mm and 0.6 mm of rain respectively, it said.

The department has issued heavy rainfall warning for isolated areas in the state during next 24 hours.
