Lovers found dead in Narmada canal in Rajasthan

A boy and a girl, who were missing since four days, were today found dead in Narmada Canal in Jalore district today.

Bina Ram (18) and Pinta (24) were in a relationship and were missing from their respective homes since last four days, police said.

Their bodies were spotted in Narmada canal in Sanchore area today by a watchman, police said.

Prima facie it appears they committed suicide by jumping into the canal as their parents were against their relationship, the police said, adding the bodies were handed over to their family members after post-mortem. The matter is under investigation.
