Many places in West Bengal received low or scanty rainfall today, the Met department said.
Kolkata recorded 6.9 mm of rainfall, while Darjeeling received zero rainfall.
Burdwan received the highest 45 mm of rain. Jalpaiguri got five mm, while Midnapore received 14 mm of precipitation.
The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers for tomorrow.
In Kolkata, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degree Celsius, while the minimum was 25 degree Celsius, the weather office said.
