There will be 37 such cells and each one will have a security officer, a legal advisor, who will also double up as counsellor, and a data entry operator.
Women and Child Welfare department said the process of recruitment was on and these officials will be assigned class-II grade.
As per the plan, if the victim is injured, the cell will provide her medical treatment and if the woman wants to file a complaint all assistance would be provided to her.
Besides a legal help will also be given for litigation purpose, sources said.
The cell will also be responsible for providing shelter to the woman if required. Sources in the department said the entire process of setting up the units will be ready before Diwali.
