Major General Rajesh Tyagi has assumed charge as Additional Director General NCC (Kerala and Lakshadweep) at the NCC Directorate here today.
The Officer was commissioned into Corps of Engineers, Indian Army in December 1979 and has vast experience of various command and staff assignments in all types of terrain and sector, a Defence press release said.
A post graduate in Structural Engineering, the General has been Chief Engineer in "PROJECT DANTAK" in Bhutan and has served as Staff Officer in United Nations Mission in Mozambique.
The officer was till recently Deputy Commandant, College of Military Engineering, Pune.
