Mamata meets four ministers, reviewed progress of works

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today reviewed the progress of work of several important departments in the government under four ministers and assessed their employment generation potential.

The chief minister assessed the posiibility of how to expedite various projects creating more employment opportunities, state secretariat sources said.

The meeting was attended by Panchayat, Rural Development and PHE Minister Subrata Mukherjee, Backward Class Welfare Minister Upen Biswas, Technical Education Minister Ujjal Biswas, and Self Help Group and Self Employment Minister Santiram Mahato.

Attending ministers also placed various suggestions before the CM to meet her demands, the sources said.
