Man arrested with 13 grams of smack in J-K

A person has been arrested with smack in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

A Special Operation Group (SOG) team, during a checking in Peerkanju area of Rajouri district last night, intercepted a drug peddler, identified as Safeer Shah, a police official said.

On seeing the police team the accused tried to flee but was apprehended after a chase, he said, adding 13 grams of smack was seized from him.

The man has been arrested and a case registered, the officer said, adding further investigation is on.
