Man bludgeons wife to death in Palghar

A Palghar resident was Friday arrested for allegedly bludgeoning his wife to death, police said.

Raghunath Baswat, a resident of Zadipada in Boisar, used to doubt his wife Sunita's character and this would cause frequent quarrels between the couple, an official said.

"On Thursday, he hit her with a wooden log and killed her instantly. We have charged him with murder. Further probe is on," the Boisar police station official said.
