Man booked for sexually harassing minor
A man has been booked on the charge of sexually harassing a 13-year-old girl at her house in SR Nagar here, police said today.
The alleged incident occurred last night when the girl, a class VII student, was alone at her house when one Riyaz entered her house, S R Nagar police station sub-inspector Naresh Kumar said, adding Riyaz fled after seeing the girl's mother.
A complaint was lodged against Riyaz, a driver, under section 354A (sexual harassment) of IPC and relevant sections of POCSO Act.
Efforts are on to nab him.
