A 35-year-old man was crushed to death by a trailer while crossing the road near Lal Kothi in Faridabad, police said.
The deceased has been identified as one Jaipal, they said.
According to the complaint filed by Vijay Kumar, resident of Subhash Colony Faridabad, his brother Jaipal was crossing the road near Lal Kothi on Ballabgarh-Sohna road yesterday.
An unknown person, driving the trailer in a reckless way, hit Jaipal leading to his death on the spot, police said.
A case was registered at Police Station Mujesar Faridabad under section 279 (rash driving) and 304A (causing death by negligence) of IPC.
The police have started investigations in the case, said ASI Shreeram.
