Man electrocuted in Kapurthala dist

An unidentified man died of electrocution near here in Kapurthala district, police said today.

Investigation Officer Balbir Singh said the deceased appeared to be around 30 to 35 years of age.

He was found dead near a power transformer in the paddy fields of Narur village last night, said the officer.

The body has been kept at a hospital for identification, he said.
