Man facing murder charges detained on arrival from Doha

A man facing murder charges in India was arrested soon after he landed at the international air terminus here today from Doha, airport sources said.

Manivannan, 33, a native of Tiruvarur, was wanted for his alleged involvement in a murder case in that town, they said.

Soon after he arrived here around 4.30 AM, he was identified by immigration officials and handed over to airport police, they added.
