Man found with Rs 1 cr worth of gold in Burdhaman

Three gold bars weighing 3.40 kg have been seized from a man in an unconscious state at a dance bar here, police said today.

Baburam, a resident of Gopiganj in Uttar Pradesh, was found unconscious at the hotel-bar last night. Police have seized gold bars worth Rs 1 crore from him, SP Kunal Agarwal said.

Baburam was admitted to a local hospital.

The police have registered a case of theft against him.
