Man gets 10-year imprisonment in loot case

A fast-track court here has convicted and sentenced a man to ten years rigorous imprisonment in a loot case.
Judge Manoj Kumar convicted Shakil under section 412 and sentenced him to ten years imprisonment last evening.
He also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the accused.
According to prosecution, Shakil looted cash and ornaments worth thousands of rupees from two womenin Gandhi Colony locality here on October 22, 2008.
