A man was today sentenced to life imprisonment by a court here in connection with a 2013 murder case.
Kuldeep, a security guard at a sugar mill, was convicted by Additional District Sessions judge Arvind Upadhey, who held
Him guilty under section 302 (punishment for murder) of the IPC for killing Pehlad Singh in December 2013.
According to the prosecution, Kuldeep shot dead Singh, a farmer, during a scuffle over weighing the cane crop he brought to the mill in Purkazi area.
The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on him.
