Man given life term for raping a teenaged girl
A court here has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for raping an 18-year-old girl three years ago.
Additional District Judge Amar Pal Singh held Upendra, the girl's neighbour, guilty yesterday after hearing both the sides and also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on him, the prosecution said here today.
In July 2012, the girl was raped by the man in Chitbadagaon area of Ballia.
