Man held for raping minor daughter

A case has been lodged under the relevant section of the IPC on a complaint of the girl after the matter came to light last night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Veer Singh said.

The accused has been arrested, he said, adding that the girl has alleged that her father repeatedly outraged her modesty over the last few months.

Singh said the victim has been sent for medical examination.
