Government Railway Police (GRP) has seized unaccounted cash of Rs 27 lakh in new currency notes from a train passenger at Ajmer railway station.
32 year-old Babu Bhai was arrested from a general coach of a Ahmedabad bound train before it's departure last night.
He got uneasy while seeing the policemen so he was checked, which led to the recovery of Rs 27 lakh from his bag, SP GRP (Ajmer) Omprakash said.
As Babu could not give satisfactory answer for the money, he was arrested and a case has been registered, the SP GRP added.
