Man kills self a day after son's suicide

A 68-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in West Bengal's Nadia district today, a day after his 23-year-old son was found hanging in their house, police said.

Amal Biswas of Harindanaga area of the district was depressed after his son Souvik allegedly committed suicide yesterday night, they said.

He was also found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room, police said.

Souvik had apparently taken the extreme step as he was frustrated at not getting a job, they added.
