CISF officials detected an unattended bag at the baggage checking X-ray machine at Kirti Nagar Metro station here at around 4:30 PM yesterday, they said.

After scanning the bag against possible bomb threat, Rs 9 lakh in demonetised currency notes was recovered from it. A few minutes later, a man identified, as R R Marwah, came to claim the bag, saying he forgot it at the scanner, they said.
