Man posing as IB official held

A man allegedly impersonating as an Intelligence Bureau (IB) official was today arrested in connection with several fraud cases in Ghaziabad area of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

Prashant, who posed himself as an IB officer, cheated several people by promising them jobs in the department and took lakhs of rupees for the purpose from them, they said.

The accused has been brought here for interrogation while the further probes are on, they added.
