Man shot dead as rival groups clash in UP

A 27-year-old man was shot dead at Bahadurpur village in Malawan Kotwali area here, after a heated argument, police said today.

The victim, Narendra, was shot dead by Yogesh of the rival group yesterday after the duo had a heated argument over some issue, they said. Yogesh later fled the spot.

A case of murder has been lodged against Yogesh and a hunt is on for him, police said.
