Manav enters Junior Worlds quarters

India's Thakkar beat Feng Yi-Hsin of Chinese 11-7 8-11 11-4 9-11 14-12 11-1 to enter the Junior Boys singles quarterfinals in the 2018 World Junior Championships at Bendigo, Australia, on Saturday.

However, Manush Shah and Chandra exited after losing their main draw matches in the first round itself. lost to Roumanian 8-11 5-11 8-11 8-11 while Manush went down to Singapore's Pang Yew En Koen in a hard-fought round of 32 match 11-6 9-11 11-4 5-11 4-11 7-11.
