The maximum day temperatures increased by a few notches in mid and lower Hills of Himachal while minimum temperatures stayed close to normal.
The maximum temperature rose by two degrees to stay at 41.4 degrees Celsius at Una, which was hottest in the region, while Sundernagar recorded a high of 36.7 degree, followed by Dharamshala 35.8 deg, Bhunter 35.0 deg, Nahan 33.2 deg, Solan 31.7 deg, Shimla 26.9 deg and Kalpa 26.0 deg.
Dharamsala was hottest during the night with a minimum temperature at 23.8 deg while Una recorded a low of 22.3 deg, followed by Nahan 20.9 deg, Palampur 19 deg, Sundernagar 17.2 deg, Shimla 16.8 deg, Solan 14.5 deg and Bhuntar 14.0 degree.

The local Met office has predicted dry weather during next three days and rains from June 4 onwards as a fresh feeble Western Disturbance as an upper air system would affect the western Himalayan region.
