Medical Superintendent arrested for taking bribe

Medical Superintendent of District hospital in Kathua was arrested today by the sleuths of State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) while he was allegedly taking bribe.

S Bhagat was held while accepting Rs 20,000 as illegal gratification from complainant Sunil Sharma for release of pending payments against medical supplies to the hospital, an SVO officer said.

A case has been registered at police station, SVO in Jammu, he said, adding that further investigation is on.
